French Onion Soup Recipe

I've just returned from a delightful week with my girlfriend and friends in Paris and we got to experience the pleasures of French onion soup (yes, with a capital F ;). And so in an attempt to keep the week lasting as long as possible, I've gone in search of a good french onion soup recipe. These two seem to be the best I've found, and from quite highly regarded chefs (although they may be somewhat unknown to those outside of the UK).
